Mosman Council ewaste drop-off days
31 January 2019
Mosman Council will host ewaste collection days on Sunday, 24 February and Sunday, 4 August from 9am-4pm at Council Car Park, 33-37 The Crescent, Mosman, NSW.
It is always a good time to clean-up and do the right thing with old and unwanted electronics. Around 95% of what we collect is recycled.
Unwanted laptops, desktop computers, monitors, printers, scanners, copiers and related IT accessories contain materials that we need to recover and recycle to manufacture new products.
Sending them to landfill is not only a waste of scarce resources, it can potentially harm the environment and human health where hazardous substances like lead or cadmium may leach into waterways if not disposed of safely and correctly.
None of the collected items are resold or remarketed.
Eligible items include:
- Desktop computers, laptops and tablets
- Printers, scanners and copiers
- Keyboards, mice, and all IT accessories
- All those lost and lonely cables and power supplies
